The Cody VerHuel Difference: Our team is different in our approach with our customers. Too many times we have found that although you may have carried insurance most of your life, you might have no idea how it works. We have also found that waiting to learn how your policy works until you need to file a claim is not a great recipe for success. This is why our mission is to educate and explain exactly how your plan will protect you and your family at claim time so that you can rest easy knowing that your financial future is protected.

Meet the agent, Cody VerHuel: Your Local Insurance Agent. As a graduate of the University of Iowa, I am an avid Hawkeye fan who loves the Black and Gold. Go Hawks! I was raised in Johnston, IA and have lived in the Des Moines metro area most of my life. Along with my wife, Kelsey, and our two children, we like to spend most of our free time outdoors biking, hiking, swimming and playing golf. Hockey is my first true passion, and my winters are still spent playing hockey with lifelong friends and now customers both indoors and outside on the pond. My passion for insurance comes from my drive to help people and make an impact on the lives of others. In my decade of insurance experience, I have seen firsthand the impact that my team has on the lives of our customers and that is what gets me excited every day!
